T-Mobile has implemented a feature that allows recipients on their network to enable a setting which blocks ANY SMS sent to their mobile number from business-type sender numbers. As such, SMS sent to T-Mobile recipients with this feature enabled often returns as a failed message. Currently, this can only be removed by having the recipient contact T-Mobile Support directly to request that setting be turned off. Specifically, the mobile user must call 611 directly from their T-Mobile device experiencing the issue – or if using another device, call 1-800-937-8997 – and request "Shortcode Blocklist" setting to be removed from their account. Mercersburg Veterinary Clinic is a full-service veterinary practice open Monday through Friday and some Saturdays for daytime hours. We do not provide afterhours emergency service in the clinic. However, if you are a current client with an urgent concern about your pet's health or need guidance on seeking emergency care, you may call the office (717-328-5171) and leave a message in the urgent care mailbox. A medical team member will return your call as soon as possible. Messages left after 10pm will be returned the next day. FOR IMMEDIATE AND EMERGENCY CARE please contact one of the area emergency centers directly: Mountain View Animal Emergency in Hagerstown, MD at 301.733.7339; CARE Veterinary Center, Frederick, MD at 301.662.2273; Vet Urgency in Frederick, MD at 301.288.8387; Shores Veterinary Emergency in Harrisburg, PA at 717.798.8500; or Rossmoyne Animal Emergency Trauma Center, Mechanicsburg, PA at 717.796.2334.
